Reformer Pilates

What is reformer pilates:
Adapted from floor pilates, reformer pilates is performed on a "reformer". Resistance can be adjusted to create optimum load for each individual by adjusting the resistance springs. Reformer pilates can increase your flexibility, strength, balance, posture and stability. This helps to aid recovery and prevent recurring injuries.

What problems may be helped with reformer pilates:

Back pain, pre and post surgery rehabilitation, shoulder injuries/faulty movement patterns, repetitive strain injuries, hip and knee injuries, core stability, and postural correction, injury prevention and overall increasing muscle strength.

Reformer Pilates Services:

A Physiotherapist qualified in reformer pilates will design a specific exercise programme to cater to your  unique needs. Initially your sessions will be supervised 1:1 to ensure correct technique is maintained, this will then allow you to perform your programme independently with regular program updates as needed.
